Amortization of Tools and Inserts
On the Tool Work Center Card and Insert Work Center Card, the fields on the Amortization FastTab contain information for the acquisition of a tool or insert, the usage and physical life, customer and item, inventory and Quality Control.
The fields on this FastTab are described in the following table.

| Acquisition Cost | Acquisition cost of the tool/insert. |
| Acquisition Date | Acquisition date of the tool/insert. |
| Physical Life | Operating life expectancy. |
| Projected Disposal Date | Automatically populated with the projected disposal date after the Acquisition Date and Physical Life fields are entered. |
| Guaranteed Output Quantity | Guaranteed output quantity of the tool/insert. |
| Guaranteed Output Quantity Unit | Unit of measure for the guaranteed output quantity. |
| Output Quantity | Automatically populated with the output quantity of the tool/insert for the item in the Item No. field and in the unit of measure of the Guaranteed Output Quantity Unit field. |
| Output Quantity (Total) | Indicates the total output quantity of the tool/insert. |
| Customer No. | Number of the customer for which the tool/insert is exclusively produced. |
| Item No. | Number of the item that is exclusive produced with this tool/insert. |
| Tool/Insert Location Code / Tool/Insert Bin Code | Location code / Bin code where the tool/insert is stored. |
| Toolkits | A QC template with relevant question and answer data for the tool/insert. |
