Alloy Surcharges in Project Card

In the Project Card, define project-specific alloy surcharges and/or a calculation date for general alloy surcharges.

Set up project-specific alloy charges

1. Choose the icon, enter Projects, and then choose the related link.
2. Open the project where alloy surcharges need to be defined.
3. On the Related menu, choose Construction Work > Alloy Quotations.
4. In the Project Alloy Quotations page, fill in the Alloy Type Code field with the relevant alloy type.
5. In the Lower Quotation field, enter the lower value for the quotation for this project.
6. In the Upper Quotation field, enter the upper value for the quotation for this project.
   The Average Quotation field is updated automatically.
7. A message opens asking if you want recalculate the alloy surcharges for the specified alloy type code. Choose the Yes button to recalculate the lines or the No button to keep the existing alloy surcharges. You can use the Calculate Alloy Surcharges action in the BoQ Budget Calculation to update the surcharges later as needed.
8. Repeat steps 4-7 to add more alloy surcharges for the project.
9. Leave the Project Alloy Quotations page.
10. On the Alloy Surcharge FastTab, the Project Alloy Quotation exists field is set to Yes.

Specify date for general alloy surcharges

If you are using the daily quotations for alloy surcharges, then you need to specify the date to use in the Alloy Surcharge Calculation Date field on the Alloy Surcharge FastTab. This date determines which alloy quotation calculation to use in the BoQ Budget Calculation page.
