Copy Alloy Information
Alloy information from various sources can be copied to new projects and project lines using different functions.
Project Alloy Quotations
Project-specific quotations can be copied to new projects when the Copy Project function is run from the Construction Project line or Project Card based on the Project Alloy Quotations setting in the Copy Project request page:
- If the toggle is turned on, the Project-specific quotations are copied.
- If the toggle is turned off, the Project-specific quotations are not copied.
Additionally, Project Alloy Quotations are copied to PaC projects created using the Create PaC Project action.
Alloy Surcharge Lines
Alloy Surcharges Lines are copied together with a project line using the Copy from, Copy to, and Paste from functions and when copying the entire project using the Copy Project function.

Copying and Recalculating Costs
When Alloy Surcharge Lines are copied to a new project using the Copy Project function or to a new line(s) using the Copy from function, you will need to manually run the Calculate Alloy Surcharges function to recalculate the alloy surcharges.
When Alloy Surcharge Lines are copied to a new line(s) using the Copy from function, you can recalculate the Unit Cost of the project line based on the setting in the Recalculate costs and prices field:
- If the toggle is turned on, the project line is recalculated with the copied alloy surcharges.
- If the toggle is turned off, the alloy surcharges are copied without recalculating the project line.
