Setup
You specify the basic settings for Graphical Shift Scheduling in the Shift Scheduling FastTab of the Graphical Extension Setup page.
To set up Graphical Shift Scheduling
Choose the
icon, enter Graphical Extension Setup, and then choose the related link.Expand the Shift Scheduling FastTab.
Fill in or update the following fields as necessary.
Field Description Shift Sched. Formula Before Specifies the date formula applied before the base date to calculate the default start date for the calendar entry range. When the field is empty, the default formula is <-2W>. Shift Sched. Formula After Specifies the date formula applied after the base date to calculate the default end date for the calendar entry range. When the field is empty, the default formula is <2W>. Calendar Entry Color Specifies the color used for calendar entries in the Graphical Shift Scheduling page. Calendar Absence Entry Color Specifies the color used for calendar absence entries in the Graphical Shift Scheduling page. Extra Capacity Entry Color Specifies the color used for extraordinary calendar capacity entries in the Graphical Shift Scheduling page.
Rebuild Scheduling Data
On the Actions menu, select Rebuild Manufacturing Data to delete and recreate the data used in the Graphical Shift Scheduling view. The action uses the current work date and the configured shift scheduling date formulas to calculate the date range.
The rebuild includes calendar entries, calendar absence entries, and extraordinary calendar capacity entries for work centers that have both a shop calendar and a shift schedule code.
