Personal Needs Matrix
The Personal Needs Matrix simplifies data maintenance. This page is accessed using Tell Me. Choose the 
icon, enter Personal Needs Matrix, and then choose the related link.
In this matrix, define a setup and run time factor for each workstation in the combination with a tool. If, for example, an entire person is not required in the production, enter a factor smaller than 1.
Work Shifts
The setup of different work shifts used in the Personnel Needs Matrix is available in standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Work Shifts are also accessible directly using Tell Me.
For each shift, enter the number of available personnel. The number of needed personnel may be different for the setup personnel and run time personnel.
The planning of the personnel is transferred automatically when planning the production orders, thus eliminating duplicate entry efforts.
