Synchronize Attributes and Manufacturing Dimensions

Manufacturing Dimensions in COSMO Process Manufacturing that are linked to Items and Item Variants can be synchronized with the Variable/Attribute Types in COSMO Discrete Manufacturing. This means that changes made in the attributes are simultaneously made in the linked manufacturing dimensions, and vice verse. Additionally, when a production order is created from a sales line, the attributes are transferred to the Manufacturing Dimensions in the production order. Synchronization of attributes in Master BOMs to the manufacturing dimensions in document BOMs and construction orders is also possible.

Note

Ensure that both Process Manufacturing and Planning Extension are enabled in the Product Configuration. For more information, see Product Configuration Management Tool.
