Text in Construction Inquiries and Construction Orders

Text from COSMO Text Module is available in the Construction Inquiry and Construction Order.

Text from checklists

Text added to checklist template lines is accessible from the document checklist for a construction inquiry and construction order by choosing Line > Line Texts on the Lines FastTab or by choosing the Yes value in the Line Text exists field on the line.

To add text to construction document checklist

New text can be added in the Edit Text page opened as explained above.

  1. To use the Rich Text Editor, choose the Rich Text Editor or Rich Text Editor (Line Conversion) action (see Text Module Line).
  2. To add text without using the Rich Text Editor:
    1. In the Text field, enter the relevant text.
    2. In the Language Code field, enter the language for the text if necessary.
    3. Select the Italic, Bold, or Underline checkbox to add formatting.
    4. In the Color field, select the color of the text.
  3. Fill in the Print Mgt. Code as needed.
  4. Fill in additional lines as needed.
  5. Choose the Close button.

Text in construction inquiry

Text added to a master BOM or document BOM line is accessible from the construction inquiry line by choosing Line > Line Texts on the Lines FastTab or by choosing the Yes value in the Line Text exists field on the line.

To add text in construction inquiry

New text can be added in the Edit Text page as explained above.

Text added to construction inquiry lines will be transferred to the document BOM if the Transfer Back to Doc. BOM action is run.

Text in construction order header

Text added to an item is accessible when created from a sales order line or when added to the construction order manually by choosing Construction > Header Texts on the Related menu.

New text can be added in the Edit Text page as explained above.

In the Construction Header Details FactBox, the Line Text field indicates if text exists for the overall construction order. Choose the value to open the Edit Text page.

Text in construction order line

Text added to a master BOM or document BOM line is accessible when added to the construction order line by choosing Line > Line Texts on the Related menu or by choosing the Yes value in the Line Text exists field on the line.

New text can be added in the Edit Text page as explained above.

In the Construction Lines Details FactBox, the Line Text field indicates if text exists for the selected construction order line. Choose the value to open the Edit Text page.

Text in archived construction

Text included in construction inquiries and construction orders is available in the archived documents.
