Customer Certificate
As mentioned above, the Combined Trading Unit Administration feature is used for the creation of additional lot information to manage all of the trading units within a lot. When used in conjunction with the Test on Lot No. (which is the Lot No. Trading Unit) or Test on Trading Unit settings, the measurements will be consolidated at the lot level or at the individual trading units.
Item Test Order Option | Combined Trading Unit Administration = On |
---|---|
Test on Lot No. | Certificates are created for the lot number only. The test results for the lot number are consolidated for all measurements on all related trading units, providing an overall view of the performance of the lot. These consolidated test results are used for each individual trading unit within the lot. As a result, if you create a certificate for an individual trading unit or for the lot itself, you will find the same test results and content on the certificate. This approach streamlines the process of managing and monitoring the information for multiple trading units within a lot, because you only need to create one certificate for the entire lot, rather than multiple certificates for each individual trading unit. |
Test on Trading Unit | Certificates are created for both the individual trading unit and the lot number. The test results for the lot number are consolidated for all measurements on all related trading units, providing an overall view of the performance of the lot. On the other hand, the test results for an individual trading unit are consolidated only for the measurements related to that specific unit. This approach allows for a more detailed and granular view of the performance of each individual trading unit within the lot. |
Note
If the Combined Trading Unit Administration toggle is turned off, then the integration with trading units is not considered and the Customer Certificates are created only for Lot-/Serial Nos. as described in COSMO Quality Assurance.
