What is a Notification?
Notifications are used by Business Central to draw a users attention to specific information. Users can keep working by ignoring the Notification or get back to it at a later point. The Digital Consultant app is using Notifications to give in app advice about tasks, assets or items from the solution catalog that could be useful.
Below you see an example where the system tells the user on the customer card that there is one task to complete, one asset that might be helpful in the current context and on item in the solution/asset catalog that is recommended. By clicking on the respective option, the system will show more details.
Using Notifications, the Digital Consultant supports an in app implementation process. Whenever a user is navigating to a page that should be used to complete a task, the user is notified.
Using notifications, the Digital Consultant supports the application deployment process. Whenever a user navigates to a page associated with previously downloaded content, the user is notified.
Using notifications, the Digital Consultant supports the application deployment process. Whenever a user navigates to a page that is linked to content from the catalog in the store, the user is notified.
