Send Email with PDF

Document Layouts of COSMO Document Configurator can be sent as a PDF by email using the standard email functionality of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. For more information, see the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Help.

To simplify the use of email body word layouts when sending COSMO Document Configurator reports, the Only use for Email Body check box in the Report Selections determines if the report will be used for email bodies exclusively. If selected, it will not be included when printing or attaching documents of this usage category. To select the Only use for Email Body check box, the standard Use for Email Body check box must be selected first.

Together these settings enable the use of standard or custom reports and word layouts as email body when sending COSMO Document Configurator documents by setting up dedicated entries in the report selections that are exclusively used to generate email bodies.

The Only use for Email Body check box is available in the following report selections:

• Report Selection - Sales
• Report Selection - Purchase
• Report Selections Reminder/Finance Charge
• Customer Report Selections
• Vendor Report Selections
