DMS Document Metadata Dialog

When uploading a new document or modifying the metadata (Show / Edit Metadata), the DMS Document Metadata Dialog opens to view or set the metadata. With the Show All Metadata function, all metadata items that have configurations with Visibility = Extended are shown.

Errors while uploading, modifying, or deleting are tracked in the document entries.

If a value that is not edited must contain a value, but the value in the metadata definition is empty, the metadata field becomes automatically editable so that the user can fill the field and upload/update the document.

On the DMS Document Metadata Dialog, information such as field caption and display value of the metadata is shown. Furthermore, the File Name, Record, Server Relative URL and Content Type is displayed.
