Report Upload

Instead of printing and scanning, reports can automatically be printed into a PDF and uploaded.

Report Selections

In the Report Selections for Sales, Purchase and Service, the document library and content type can be configured to upload the PDF to SharePoint. Open these report selection pages on the Related menu of the DMS Setup page and in the standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central menus.

Many standard objects will include the Upload and/or Post and Upload actions to perform the automated report upload.

Depending on the report selection configuration, a new email or the report itself will be opened. If no content type is selected, the default behavior will be processed.

There are two fields specific to COSMO Document Management System in the Report Selection pages, the Document Library Code and Content Type Code field.

Document Layouts

In the Document Layouts for Customers and Vendors, the document library and content type can be configured to upload the PDF to SharePoint. Open these document layout pages on the Navigate menu of the Customer Card or Vendor Card.

Depending on the report selection configuration, a new email or the report itself will be opened. If no content type is selected, the default behavior will be processed.
