Logistics Pre Pick Page
The Pre Pick page is accessible from the following pages:
- Pool Warehouse Shipments by choosing the Pre Pick action on the Navigate menu.
- Warehouse Pick Header by choosing the Picks action on the Related menu to access Pre Pick Lines.
It contains two parts:
- A warehouse activity section with related pre pick lines.
- A Bin Content FactBox with filters for Location Code, Item No., and Unit of Measure Code.
Actions
The actions on the Actions menu are described in the following sections.
Register Line
This action performs the required movements and changes the Pre Pick Line status to Registered. After registration, the line can be processed on the standard Pick page. If you enter a lower quantity in the Qty. to Handle field, the line is split into two lines, and the remaining quantity stays in Open status.
After you run the Register Line action, warehouse entries are created for the pre pick activities. On the Pool Warehouse Shipments page, the Pre Pick Active field changes to No, and the status of the related warehouse activity changes to Open.
Cancel Line
If a movement must be reversed, this action restores the original status and moves the item back to its original location.
Split Line
This action splits the Pre Pick line into two lines based on the value in the Qty. to Handle field. It does not move inventory; it only enables different item tracking assignments for each line.
Split Line For Serial Nos.
If serial number tracking is required, this action splits the line into individual entries. In this case, the value in the Qty. to Handle field determines how many records are created.
Assign Warehouse Users to Lines
Warehouse users can be assigned to pre pick lines only when the line Status is Open. When you choose the Assign Warehouse Users to Lines action, the Warehouse User List page opens, and you can assign users to the selected pre pick lines.
Back on Warehouse Pick, the standard delete function on the Warehouse Activities page has been modified. The system checks whether pre pick lines exist for the warehouse activity line:
If pre pick is not registered, the warehouse activity line and the related pre pick lines are deleted.
If pre pick is already registered, the delete function displays the following warning message:
Registered pre pick activities exist for the selected warehouse activity line(s). The inventory will remain in the pre pick bin. Do you want to continue?
If you choose YES, the inventory remains in the pre pick bin, and the registered pre pick lines are not deleted.
