SSCC label

An example for the SSCC label:

SSCC label

  • Field1_Logo: according to the Company Information
  • Field2_Sender: according to the Company Information
  • Field3_Addressee: according to the Shipping unit table Ship-to fields. Ship-to Name, Ship-to Address, Ship-to Post Code, Ship-to City, Ship-to Country/region Code.
  • Field4_SSCC: according to the SSCC label setup on the location card
  • Field 5-9: according to the logistics setup
  • Field 10-11: Barcodes

Two barcodes are needed on the label:

  1. Barcode_1: According to SSCC setup on the Location card. AI codes and values of the Fields 5-9

  2. Barcode_2: AI code (00) and SSCC value

If the shipping unit is not homogeneous, only the SSCC code should be printed on the label.

1.3 SSCC label technical parameters

Standard size of the SSCC label:

  • for homogeneous pallets: A5 (148 mm x 210 mm)
  • for heterogeneous pallets (only with SSCC data content): A6 (105 mm x 148 mm)

Standard size of GS1-128 barcode:

  • minimum applicable module size (size X): 0,495 mm
  • width of a bar code: up to 48 characters or 165 mm including rest fields

The font for free text information and eye-readable strings under the barcode is the ARIAL or OCR-B font. The font size of the free text information should reach 3 mm. The font size of the eye-readable strings below the barcode should reach 3 mm. Date format is according to English version. (day, month, year).
