Connect Machine to a Rental Asset

Machines, Machine Components, and Supplementary Parts can be defined as Rental Assets.

On the Machine Type, Machine Component Type, and Supplementary Part Type, the Fixed Asset toggle ensures that no inventory can be posted without an assigned Fixed Asset.

Note

To turn on the Fixed Asset toggle, the Item Tracking Code field must be populated.

After posting inventory, the machine, machine component, or supplementary part is connected through the Rental Item No. field on the Fixed Asset Card and the Fixed Asset No. field on the Machine Card, Machine Component Card, and Supplementary Part Card.
