    Role Center

    The Rental Administrator Role Center provides the most efficient COSMO Rental user experience.

    This Role Center provides quick access to standard rental processes, such as general setup, lists of documents (rental quotes, contracts, transfer orders, etc.), lists of rental items and machines, and lists of posted documents.

    It offers actions for creating rental quotes, reservations, contracts, invoices (using the Create Rental Invoices batch job), and purchase orders, as well as running a process to search for rental items by technical parameters.

    The Activities part uses cues to provide a visual overview of the number of open and released rental quotes, reservations, contracts, invoices, and credit memos.

    Additionally, the Insights part allows you to add your commonly used items and customers as well as viewing blocked rental items (machines, machine components, and supplementary parts) and service items.

    To apply this role center

    1. Choose the Icon that opens the list with My Settings icon and then select My Settings from the menu. Alternatively, you can use the Tell Me feature.
    2. In the Role field, choose the ellipsis button.
    3. In the Available Roles page, select Rental Administrator and then choose the OK button.
    4. Choose the OK button to close the My Settings page and save your changes.
