Walkthrough: Create a Rental Item – The Portable Generator

In this topic, we take you through the steps to use the COSMO Rental demo data to create a new rental item.

Scenario

COSMO Rental has been implemented at The Rent Entirely Everything Company. The company is adding a new piece of equipment—a Portable Generator (model REN-I-PG500)—to their rental portfolio. The generator will be available for various rental durations (daily, weekly, monthly) and offers additional features like scheduled maintenance and real-time availability tracking.

This scenario demonstrates how to set up this rental item in Business Central using the COSMO Rental extension.
