In this section, you can learn about working with the Azure DevOps repos and Markdown files in order to collaborate on content for COSMO Docs.

How content is created and published

All content on the docs.cosmoconsult.com site is created and published in the same way:

1. You get access to an Azure DevOps repository.
2. You create folders, Markdown files, add content, and then commit it to the DevOps repository.
3. An automated pipeline runs every night, which publishes the new content in the repository to the docs.cosmoconsult.com site.

How to work in Markdown files

COSMO Consult's technical writers use Visual Studio Code to work in Markdown files in their local clones of the different repositories. To the colleagues that want to collaborate or contribute to the content, we recommend making changes right in the browser in the relevant DevOps repository.
