The Delta Planning feature can be used when transferring or calculating a prod. order.

If the Delta Planning toggle is not turned on, New Planning in the PPS is always carried out instead.

With the help of delta planning, limited changes to the routing, working times or similar can now be integrated into the existing planning without changing the target date that has already been calculated. If possible, a change is scheduled and a complete new planning with a different target date is avoided. However, it cannot be guaranteed by the PPS that delta planning will succeed. This is subject to some limitations.

If a delta planning cannot be carried out in the PPS, a necessary new planning is carried out automatically.
