Standard Text

Standard Text is the general text that can be used in multiple areas. It is created in the Text Module Standard Text Card page, which is accessed using Tell Me. Choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter Text Module Standard Text List, and then choose the related link. The Text Module Standard Text Card is set up in the same way as in the Text Module Card page (see Text Module Card).

Once setup is complete, this standard text can be brought into master data text by choosing Function > Get Standard Text on the Related menu in the Text Module Card or into documents by choosing Get Standard Text > Paste Above or Paste Below on the Actions menu in the Edit Text page.

Note

Language and date ranges are not considered when these functions are used; all standard text will be available for selection.
