Update Multilevel Production Orders

If a production order is created using multilevel production, the scheduling for each production step is independent from each other if the starting or ending date is changed manually after the production order was calculated.

The setup of the scheduling using multilevel productions is configured in the Planning Extension Setup page:

• If the Update Multilevel Prod. Orders toggle is turned on and the Starting or Ending Date-Time is changed on a production order line, then the Starting Date-Time and Ending Date-Time in the lower production line will be recalculated and remain linked to the Starting-Date Time on the first line.
• If the Update Multilevel Prod. Orders toggle is turned off and the Starting or Ending Date-Time is changed on a production order line, then the Starting Date-Time and Ending Date-Time in the lower production line do not change and there is no longer a link to the first line.
