Production Structure Simulations
The Production Structure Simulation calculates a certain quantity for the needed work operations and materials. This is done in several steps. If there are items in the structure that are also produced as semi-finished goods, they are exploded in their structure.
This function is accessible from the Production Structure, Item Card, and Sales Order.
From the Production Structure and/or Item Card, multilevel simulations are possible.
The Production Simulation takes the quantity to calculate from the Lot Size field on the Production Structure and Item Card. This quantity can be changed on the item card and the production structure.
The Due Date is taken from the work date.
Production Simulations from Sales Orders
Production Simulations can be run from Sales Order lines. In the Sales Order, the quantities and dates are based on the sales line Quantity and the Shipment Date.
Note
The Warning checkbox is selected if there are problems with the Quantity Avail. on Due Date or with the capacity of a Work Center.
