Update the Project Status

When a project moves from a planning or quote status to an order, the project Status must be changed to Open for any posting to occur.

COSMO Project Manufacturing offers two options on the Sales FastTab on the Projects Setup page to automate this process:

Select Optional or Always in the Set Project Status Quote field to ask or automatically change the project Status to Quote when a quote is created.
Select Optional or Always in the Set Project Status Open field to ask or automatically change the project Status to Open when an order is created.

If these options are not selected, the Status field must be manually changed on the project.
