Incident Types

Incident Types are used to categorize incidents. You can specify two incident types as defects or obstructions and then have additional incidents that occur on a construction site, for example, receipt of materials to the site, meetings, or accidents.The Incident Type set as a defect is shown in the Defect FactBox on the Construction Diary page; all others, including defects, are shown in the Incidents FactBox on the Diary Report Card.

The Incident Types page is accessible using Tell Me. Choose the icon, enter Incident Types, and then choose the related link.

The fields in the Incident Types page are described in the following table.

Field	Description
Code	Indicates a unique identifier of the incident type.
Description	Short description of the incident type.
Obstruction	Specifies if the incident type is an obstruction.
Defect	Specifies if the incident type is a defect. This incident type is shown in the Defects FactBox on the Construction Diary page.
