Tree View for Construction Lines

The Tree View provides a hierarchical visualization of Construction Lines within a Construction Order.

Instead of working with a flat list, users can now expand and collapse assemblies and sub-assemblies. This makes complex structures easier to navigate and improves clarity when working with multi-level BOMs and dependencies.

Setup

  1. Open the Configure to Order Setup page.
  2. Expand the Construction FastTab.
  3. Locate the Activate Tree View in Const. Order field:
    • Turn on the toggle if you want the Tree View to be displayed by default when opening a Construction Order.
    • Leave off if the classic list view will remain the default.

Use the Tree View in Construction Orders

  1. Open a Construction Order.
    The Construction Order lines are displayed according to your setup:
    • List View – flat structure of all lines.
    • Tree View – hierarchical structure showing assemblies and their children, powered by the Belongs to Entry No. relationship between lines, visualized in the Level field.
  2. To switch between the two views, choose the Activate/Deactivate Tree View action on the Home menu. The system will instantly update the subpage with the selected view.
  3. The Level field in the Tree View displays the highest level of the assembly with their children indented below.
    • Use the Toggle Expand / Collapse All icons to expand or collapse all the levels.
    • Use the Expand row Collapse row icons to expand/collapse individual rows.

All relevant fields (e.g., Status, Pre-Order, Freeze Unit Cost (CC)) are available in both views, although some are hidden for better readability.
