Sales Documents

COSMO Project Manufacturing offers integration of functionality between the project, budget and sales processes. In this way, efficiency and accuracy are increased.

Sales Quotes and Sales Orders can be created for a project based on a project position. In this section, Sales Quotes and Sales Orders are created in the Project Budget Calculation page. Alternatively, sales documents can be created in the Project Budget Sales page.

Note

The Opportunities and Interaction functionalities from standard Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Sales & Marketing are integrated in the sales cycle of COSMO Project Manufacturing.

From an Opportunity, a project can be created by choosing the Assign Project action. Once ready for sales processing, a Sales Quote or Sales Order can be created based on a project position.

The Project No. in the Interactions Log Entries makes is possible to log activities related to a Project and Main Project. If a new contact interaction is created by choosing the Create Interaction action on the Project Contacts page, the Project No. is defaulted to the Create Interaction Wizard. In any other case, the Project No. can be assigned manually.
