User Events

User-defined events represent an application programming interface of COSMO Workflow. They extend workflow events that pass database events to the COSMO Workflow app in order to be able to define user-specific events.

The User Events page is accessed using Tell Me. Choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter User Events, and then choose the related link.

User-defined events are defined on the User Events page and are implemented in the source code of the application. They will be called through their code from a desired place in the source code of the application.

If an implemented user-defined event is declared in a workflow event, then workflows can react on any events (not only on the predefined database events).
