Routing Skill Sets
The fields in the Routing Skill Sets page (Routing page > Lines FastTab > Operation menu > Skill Sets) are described in the following table.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Time Type | Defines whether it is an activity for setting up (Setup) or processing (Run) the Prod. Order Routing operation. For each time type, a duration is specified in the Prod. Order Routing operation that is used to calculate the Prod. Order capacity need and thus also the Prod. Order Resource need (see Resource Needs in Production). |
Skill Set Code | Indicates the required or desired capabilities of the resources. The code can have several requirements related to resource qualification, work center group, and manufacturing skills. |
Description | Defaults from the description of the Skill Set Code. |
Number | Indicates how many resources with the Skill Set Code are required to perform the operation in the relevant time type. |
Attention % | Resources and in particular personnel can be active for several production orders in the specified period (for example, for multiple machine occupancy). The attention factor specified as a percentage specifies how the scope for parallel activities is restricted by this operation. With a factor of 100 for Attention %, a resource is required that concentrates completely on the task in the specified time. The resource in question cannot then be assigned to any other resource requirement in the specified time. Alternatively, if the factor is under 100, then the remaining attention can be used for further capacity resource needs of production orders at the same time (parallel). |
No. of Skills | Indicates the number of skills that exist for the skill set on this operation. This value is based on the entries in the Routing Skill Set Entries page, accessed by choosing the Skills action. |
