Copy Document BOM Line to Production Structure

You can copy Document BOM lines to a Production Structure using the Copy action in the Document BOM page and the Paste BOM action in the Lines FastTab on a Production Structure.

1. On the Document BOM, select the line(s) to copy to the production structure.
2. On the Actions menu, choose the Copy action.
3. Open the Production Structure.
4. Go to an empty line or choose the location within the structure where the line needs to be added.
5. On the Lines FastTab, choose Line > Paste BOM.

If entered:

• into an empty line, the line from the Document BOM is inserted.
• within the existing structure, a message will open asking if it should be inserted ahead or behind the selected line.

Note

You can copy multiple Document BOM lines to the Production Structure but only one level is inserted. Therefore, if you copy an entire Document BOM, only the lines from the highest level (the lowest Level number) will be inserted to the Production Structure.
