Tip
Summary: This topic explains how user page customizations in COSMO Mobile Solution are created when a role is assigned to a user, generating custom pages based on global page customizations for the role. Accessing these customizations involves navigating through the Mobile Solution Center and selecting relevant pages. Filtering options include Service Name, Object ID, or User ID. Limitations at the user-level include the inability to alter captions, filter types, flowfield types, barcode assignments, message templates, label layouts, and custom report settings. However, users can modify filter values, condition values, and relation filters.
Upon assigning a role to a user, specific user page customizations are generated based on the global page customizations, containing only those pages included in the assigned role.
To access user page customizations
- Choose the icon, enter Mobile Solution Center and choose the related link, and then choose the Page Customizations tile.
- Choose the page customization from the Global Page Customizations page.
- Choose the User Page Customizations action.
- Filtering is possible within user page customizations based on Service Name, Object ID, or User ID as well.
- Upon opening a specific user page customization, necessary changes can be made.
User-Level Customization Limitations
In general, the structure of the User Page Customization is the same as the Global Page Customization page. Through user page customizations, it is possible to customize certain page properties and dialogue layouts specifically for individual users. However, there are limitation to this user-level customization:
- Captions: cannot be altered.
- Page filters: only the filter values can be modified, but not the existing filter types.
- Flowfield definition (specific flowfields that are used in the mobile application only): only the filter values can be modified, but not the existing flowfield types.
- Complex barcode assignments: cannot be changed.
- Message templates: cannot be changed.
- Print settings:
- Label layouts: cannot be changed.
- Custom report settings: cannot be changed.
- Conditional views: only the condition values can be modified, but not the existing conditions.
- Relations: only relation filters can be modified, but not the conditions.
