Global Variable with Enum Type as Page Field Source

Business Central allows the creation of a global variable on the page with enum type as a field source.

Problem

These fields will not have localized captions, so the values in the mobile application will always be in English. Therefore, the option picker values cannot be localized and the conditional views won't be working in a non-English setup.

Solution

Always create a table field for the enum and use it as the source for the page field.
