COSMO Advanced Manufacturing Suite
COSMO Advanced Manufacturing Suite (AMS) integrates COSMO Advanced Manufacturing Pack with other apps from COSMO CONSULT. The current version of COSMO Advanced Manufacturing Suite includes the integration of COSMO Quality Assurance, COSMO Regulatory Affairs, COSMO Text Module, COSMO Document Management System, and COSMO Product Data Management.
The integration of COSMO Quality Assurance allows you to provide and manage quality testing requirements for your business. For instance, you can perform incoming goods inspections, manufacturing inspections, and others within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Integrating COSMO Quality Assurance into your business results in consistently applied quality processes across the enterprise.
The integration of COSMO Regulatory Affairs allows you to add approval workflows for controlling COSMO Discrete Manufacturing processes (certification of checklist templates and master BOMs), COSMO Process Manufacturing processes (certification of production structures, changes to restricted sales setup and work center production rates), COSMO Product Data Management processes (status changes to drawings and engineering change orders), COSMO Project Manufacturing process (release job procurement lines), COSMO Quality Assurance processes (certification of customer certificates and changes to test plans, test plan setup/assignment, sample occurrences, sample drawing instruction, and lot-/serial number information), and COSMO Vendor Rating process (changing assert terms of delivery).
The integration of COSMO Text Module gives you extended text management capabilities for manufacturing purposes like items, routings, BOMs, etc., by:
- Formatting text lines
- Generating text on documents and reports
- Centrally controlling the printing of individual text lines depending on the document type
- Controlling text as pop-up messages to provide users with situation-specific information
The integration of COSMO Document Management System gives you extended document management capabilities, such as:
- Fast retrieval of process-related documents
- Mobile access and access from multiple locations
- History management/versioning
- Automatic notification of changes to documents
- Joint editing and sharing of documents
- Rapid launch times thanks to SharePoint integration
The integration of COSMO Product Data Management allows you to attach drawings to documents and create Engineering Change Notices in COSMO Discrete Manufacturing and COSMO Process Manufacturing.
