Change Document BOM Warning

Changing or deleting a Document BOM while there is an existing Construction Order can prompt a warning message that allows you to choose to discard/save the change or stop/continue the deletion:

• The Discard change option is essentially the same as choosing the Cancel button, in that it reverses the change or stops the deletion process. Depending on the type of change, you may need to go back to the line to see the reversal.
• The Save anyway option retains the change or deletes the Document BOM.
• The Save anyway (do not ask again) option is intended for multiple changes to a Document BOM, in that it retains the change and then prevents the message from opening each time a change is made. However, if the Document BOM is closed and reopened, the message will open again if changes are made.

Whether this warning is shown is determined by the setting of the Suppress Document BOM Change Warning field in the Configure to Order Setup page. By default, this toggle is turned off to ensure the warning is always shown. To prevent the warning, turn this toggle on.
