Commission Groups

The purpose of commission groups is to group similar commission rates in a business. With commission groups, the system distinguishes between commission groups, customer commission groups, and item commission groups.

Commission groups are directly assigned to commission recipients. A commission recipient is assigned to a unique commission group (see Commission Recipients).

To set up commission groups

  1. Choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter Commission Groups, and then choose the related link.
  2. Choose the New action.
  3. Enter a unique code and then enter a description for the commission group.
  4. The remaining fields on this page are identical with those on the General FastTab of the Commission Setup page and are used as a template for new commission groups. These fields can be adjusted manually for individual commission groups. As a result, the commission statement is more specialized.
  5. Go to the next line and add another commission group.

The actions on the Commission Groups page are described in the following table.

Action Description
Commission Recipients Opens an overview of all commission recipients of the selected commission group.

Commission Rates Opens the commission rates for the selected commission group. Rates can be modified in this page.
