WHY is there a COSMO Cloud if we move everything to SaaS?
So you know that COSMO CONSULT is conducting a massive Move2SaaS campaign, to nudge our existing customer base to Business Central Online (aka BC SaaS).
And for new Business Central customers COSMO CONSULT proritizes BC SaaS as strategic preference in sales.
So it is absolutely justified that you might ask yourself: why is there a COSMO CLOUD if we move everything to SaaS?
The reason is simple: because the market demands another option besides Business Central Online (aka BC SaaS).
Still there is a group of customers, who will not go to SaaS anytime soon. However, there is solutions to sell and revenue to make if we pick up these customers where they are now, with our professional managed service hosting offering - the COSMO Cloud.
As a major global Microsoft partner and Cloud Solution provider, it is not our attitude to let other competitors have this business - we can do it and want to do it ourselves.
So this is the main reason why there still is (and in the future will be) the COSMO Cloud - it can be used in any case where you're not able to make the deal without offering the customer a professionally managed hosting platform, operated by COSMO CONSULT, for his IT workloads - may it be ERP or other IT-Systems (DWH, CRM, LCS etc.).
Of course Move2SaaS is strategic preference, but if there is no way for SaaS (and there will be cases), a COSMO Cloud option still can earn money for COSMO CONSULT, which under no circumstances should be left on the table, don't you think?
