    Lines FastTab

The checklist lines can be entered either manually or from pre-defined checklist questions/answers. If using the pre-defined checklist questions, all fields from the question and answer mappings are copied into the checklist lines and can be changed.

    Field Description
Type The following line type options are available:
    - Question: Indicates that the line is a question. In the No. field, a valid pre-defined question can be selected.
    - Answer: Indicates that the line is an answer.
Answers are assigned to the question above it. If the More Answers Possible checkbox is not selected for the question, only one answer for each question can be selected. With this type, no further dependence between question and answer exists.
    - Headline: Lines that are inserted for clarity as headings.
    - Selection Option: Selection options are assigned to a question and normally do not have their own variables. The value of a selection option is entered in the Input field of the question (see Variables and Attributes for additional information about using this checklist answer type).
Level Provides the basis of a question/answer hierarchy.
NOTE: When Type = Selection Option, the options must always be one level deeper than the associated question.
Description Contains the description of the line. The description depends on the selection in the Type field:
    - If a value is entered into the No. field, then the Description field is automatically populated with the corresponding description.
    - Otherwise, the field is blank and needs to be filled in with the proper question or answer to be displayed on the checklist.
Input Type Definition of the data type that is expected of an answer. The options are Text, Decimal, Date, Time, Boolean, and Integer.
Selected Default value for an answer. This field is only valid when the Type field is set to Answer and the Input Type field is set to Boolean.
Value for Input This field is only relevant with a Type of Selection Option. Here a value can be assigned to a selection option. With this value the further calculation is then accomplished in the checklist. For example, the question about a color can be assigned the answer (the color blue = value 1).
The assigned value is displayed in the Input field on the checklist question line. If no value is assigned, the description of the answer in the Input field is given.
Input Input field for answers and questions. This field refers to the input type. The Input Type field determines which inputs are permitted.
With the Input Type of Boolean, "yes" or "no" must be entered in the Input field using any of the following: 1, true, tru, tr, t, yes, ye, y or 0, false, fals, fal, fa, f, no, n ( for other languages, replace these with the corresponding words for "yes" and "no" (e.g., for German, ja, j, nein, nei, ...)). The Selected checkbox is then activated if any of the aforementioned usages of "yes" is entered.
When a question has answers that have the Type field set to Selection Option, choose the ellipsis button in the Input field to select from the different selection options.
More Answers Possible Indicates that several answers are possible for the question, but only if the Type field on the answer is set to Answer.
Variable for Dynamic BOM / Formula Show Line / Show Line / Formula Function / Value of Function (alphanum.) / Value of Function / Value of Function is Default / Always Overwrite / Formula Message / Message Exists / Formula Mandatory Input / Automatic Recalculation / Recalculate on Opening / Free Text See Dynamic Checklist.
Input not editable Determines if the Input and Selected fields can be changed manually or not.
Description Bold Select this checkbox to bold the text in the Description field on the checklist.
NOTE: This field has no style influence when Description Color = yellow (never bold) or green (always bold).
