Breakdown Maintenance Orders
Breakdown maintenance is performed when a breakdown occurs between scheduled preventive maintenance occurrences or if a breakdown occurs because a maintenance strategy has not yet been put in place. Occurring malfunctions are recorded by creating a maintenance order from the machine (work center), not using a Maintenance Template.
When the breakdown maintenance order is created, a released production order is created automatically to prompt immediate repair and block capacity in production.
