What's new in version 3.4
Version 3.4.179379.0 of COSMO Unique Device Identification is a Hotfix of the 3.4.176755.0 release.
Version 3.4.176755.0 of COSMO Unique Device Identification allows you to overwrite the XSD version for EUDAMED exports via the new "Custom XSD Version" field in UDI Setup as well as adds the ability to print large amounts of serial numbers using label software, which requires a data conversion that generates new entries in new tables.
Important
On-Premises customers coming from versions 2.0 or 2.1 and aiming for version 3.0 or higher must first upgrade to version 2.2 or 2.3 to get their data adjusted.
The final upgrade to version 3.x will require a publish with ForceSync. Refer to the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Help for more information about Upgrading an App by Using ForceSync.

| PR10018 | Fixed error when printing large amounts of serial numbers using label software. NOTE: This fix requires a data conversion from Label Data Entries to the new Label Item Entries and Label Item Tracking Entries, each with their own set of symbols. This conversion also affects installations that use Business Central reports instead. The data conversion must be done manually by turning off the new "Use Legacy Label Data" toggle on the UDI Setup page. In case of existing customizations (new symbols, new or extended label reports, new fields on Label Data Entry), preparations are required before running the conversion. For new installations, the new mode will be applied (toggle turned off). Permission set "CCS UDI ALL" has been changed/updated. |
