Add SharePoint On-Premise Authentication and DMS Credentials

This section describes how to apply the SharePoint on-premise authentication and DMS Credentials. You can find the COSMO Document Management System OnPrem app in the COSMO CONSULT Solution Portal.

Remarque

The communication to the SharePoint on-premise server is only possible for On-Premise environments.

To install in on-premises environment

  1. Install the COSMO Document Management System OnPrem app to your On-Premise environment. The app depends on the COSMO Document Management System app, which needs to be installed first. For more information regarding app installation, see App Installation.
  2. Initialize the setup. For more information, see Setup.

To add credentials in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

To complete the credentials in COSMO Document Management System, choose the Lightbulb that opens the Tell Me feature icon, enter DMS Credentials, and then choose the related link.

Additionally, the credentials set here are used for Construction Plan queries, which allows the construction plan to run for SharePoint On-Premise.

The fields to be completed on the DMS Credentials page are described in the following list.

  • Code: Defines a unique identifier for the credential; maximum of 20 characters.

  • Type: Defines the type of authentication. NTLM is the authentication method for SharePoint on-premise server.

  • Realm (Azure Tenant ID): Leave empty.

  • Target Host: Leave empty.

  • App Client ID: Leave empty.

  • App Client Secret: Leave empty.

  • NTLM Username: Specifies the service account's username used to communicate with the SharePoint on-premise server.

  • NTLM Password: Specifies the service account's password used to communicate with the SharePoint on-premise server.

  • Security Protocol: Specifies the security protocol to be used at service point manager, for example Tls12.
