Inventory Posting Setup
Inventory Posting Setup must be done for customer and external locations.
When customer locations are created automatically using the Create Customer Location function, an Inventory Posting Setup entry is also created for the combination of customer location and Rental location based on the location defined in the Def. Invt. Post. Setup Location field on the Rental Setup page. If the customer location is not created automatically, you must manually complete the setup in the Inventory Posting Setup page.
If you are using 3rd Party rentals, you must complete the setup of the external location (specified in the External Rental Loc. Code field on the Rental Setup page) and inventory posting group combination in the Inventory Posting Setup page.
