The Card View FastTab contains the range of objects and its related properties of a given page. This FastTab is shown on all page types except List.
The fields on the Card View FastTab are described in the following table.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Object Name | Specifies object names, with primary keys in bold. Sorted into three sections by its properties: Field List, Function List, and Filter List for Query type pages. |
Field Type | Specifies the functionality of the field affected by different field types. The options are: - Normal: Default type for fields. - Barcode: Specifies a field for barcode scanning. These fields are marked with a barcode icon in the mobile application page. - Email / Phone Number: Specifies a field for email addresses and phone numbers marked with an email or a phone icon in the mobile application. By choosing the email icon in the application, the default email address opens. The phone number field type has two symbols, which makes it possible to make calls and send text messages. - URL: Specifies a field for URLs. - Function: Specifies a field for both bound and unbound functions. If set as visible, they appear as buttons in the mobile application. - Filter / Filter with Barcode: Specifies fields of Query type pages. Use the Filter with Barcode option in case of barcode scanning as an inserting option. - Signature: Specifies a field for recording a signature in an input area or viewing it if the field is not editable. For more information, see Signature Function. - Client Action: Specifies COSMO Mobile Solution standard actions for Card View and List View. This option is for informational purposes and cannot be changed. |
Function Button Picture | Specifies the preferred predefined icon to display for the given action bar button in the mobile application. These can be chosen for Field Types of Function and Normal, if the latter's Relation Type is Drill Down or Conditional Drill Down. This field is hidden by default. Choose the Show More action in the Manage menu to reveal it. |
Relation Type | Displays the type of the defined relation. - Simple Lookup and Conditional Lookup are for scenarios in which you would like to choose a value from a related list. In the mobile application, an icon marks these types of fields. - Drill Down and Conditional Drill Down types are used for opening a related page. - Empty Drill Down is a technical option to set and is created for CustomDrillDown objects. Lines | Specifies the Drill Down or Conditional Drill Down type field related to the line part in case of Headerline type of pages. One related page can be defined as Line per Page Customizations. |
Visible | Specifies whether the field is visible in the mobile application. |
Editable | Specifies whether the field is editable in the mobile application. |
Filterable | Specifies whether the field is filterable in the mobile application. Changes get inherited to the field in the List View FastTab. |
Searchable | Specifies whether the specific field is searchable across the mobile application. Changes get inherited to the field in the List View FastTab. |
Auto Focus Mode | Specifies how the field focus in the mobile application will behave after leaving the previous field in case of barcode scanning. The options are: - On: the field will be in focus automatically. - Skip: the field will not be in focus - Skip if filled: will be in focus if the field is empty. This field is hidden by default. Choose the Show More action in the Manage menu to reveal it. |
Visible Line Count | Specifies the number of lines that can be displayed for a text field in the mobile application. This is typically used with the Normal field type. If the text exceeds the displayed portion, an ellipsis button will indicate the overflow. Choose the ellipsis button to reveal the entire text. |
Variable Default Value | Specifies whether the Default Value is a User Variable. If selected, then the Default Value field becomes a drop-down list, related to the User Variable page. This field is hidden by default. Choose the Show More action to reveal it. |
Default Value / Default Value Caption | Specifies a predefined value. In the mobile application, the field will be populated with the Default Value. Its translation will be shown in the Default Value Caption field if the field is an option. These fields are hidden by default. Choose the Show More action in the Manage menu to reveal them. |

- CustomFunction1..4 and CustomDrillDown1..4 are blank objects to build processes upon without adding objects by coding.
Special objects in the Card View FastTab for all COSMO Mobile Solution pages:
- Client Action type fields are standard functions that can be visible in the mobile application.
- Card.New and Card.Delete objects availability are based on the settings of the Insert Allowed and Delete Allowed fields in the General FastTab.
- Card.Print.Report, Card.Print.Label, and Card.Print.Preview client actions will be visible in the mobile application if the necessary settings were made .
- Card.ExitAndJumpTo client action is visible in a card in the mobile application if a page type of List or List and Card is related to a page type of Headerline and there is at least one field set to Searchable in the child page. Choose this client action to close the current card and open the Jump to function automatically.
