The benefits of COSMO Cloud for Business Central
The COSMO Cloud is a full-service offering for the online operation of Dynamics 365 Business Central. It can be more flexible adjusted to customers requirements than Microsoft's SaaS service. Users can, for example,
- also host older Dynamics 365 Business Central and Dynamics NAV versions, modules, and functions
- integrate all special or customer-specific solutions and add-ons productively, regardless of their SaaS suitability
- ensure a complete hybrid integration via VPN between their on-premise IT and the COSMO Cloud
- have direct access to the Microsoft SQL Server of Dynamics NAV or Dynamics 365 Business Central
- have full access to all areas of the platform to address a wide range of analysis, optimization, and support requirements.
The Service Level Agreement (SLA) of the COSMO Cloud guarantees continuous system monitoring and permanent operational readiness with an availability of 99.9%. Backups are automatically performed and verified, and all patches for Microsoft Windows and SQL versions are implemented automatically. A competent contact person is always available, and technical issues are resolved as quickly as possible. Backup copies are kept separate from operational systems and are immediately available when needed.
In the COSMO Cloud, there are no ongoing updates of the Business Central application like in SaaS. Business Central updates can be requested by the customer on an ad-hoc or regular basis via the COSMO Evergreen Service (a paid additional service as a one-time order or subscription).
