Terms of COSMO Make-to-Order 2GO

This strategy is best for businesses focused on key processes and those with previous experience in system implementations. The essential package is planned to unfold over three months from a set start date. Below is an outline of the included services and exclusions:
Key Notes:
- The focus is on key processes like configuration, calculation, engineering, subcontracting, and vendor rating.
- Customers must provide all necessary data. The plan includes training and configuration advice on utilizing the COSMO manufacturing vertical, ensuring teams can effectively use the system.
- This plan excludes standard features and functions of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or any customizations. The emphasis is on activating the fundamental COSMO Discrete Manufacturing and Vendor Rating extension promptly and effectively.
- This service is ideally suited for companies keen on refining their manufacturing processes and who have experienced personnel to guide the implementation. It presents an efficient entry point into the COSMO manufacturing vertical, with possibilities for later expansion and integration of more features and modules.
Included Features:
- CPQ functionality including checklists and formulas
- Configurable Sales BOMs (Document BOMs)
- KANBAN replenishment system
- Pre-, concurrent, and post calculation of assembly orders
- Evaluation of supplier performance
- Advanced User Instructions: Integrate comprehensive instructions (rich text) directly within the master data, sales documents, BOMs and routings to streamline communication and execution.
- External production, including enclosure of material, pricing, vendor selection and warehouse management.
- Vendor Rating to measure the performance of vendors in terms of reliability of quantity and delivery dates.
- Component Planning Pool to identify material shortage
- COSMO Graphical Production Planner to detect overload and re-schedule production orders.
Exclusions:
- Standard features and functionalities of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- COSMO Planning Extensions, such as Sequence Planning, and Resource Scheduling.
- Any customizations or additional extensions.
- Power BI or other types of integrations.
- Implementation or support for other Microsoft products like Power Automate or Power Apps.
The implementation process unfolds through key phases: analysis, design, testing, and deployment, each critical for the successful introduction of the extension. Subject matter experts from COSMO offer specific support for components directly related to the manufacturing vertical. Critical phase receives expert backing, leading to an efficient implementation.
Implementation Phase:
- Key User Training: This crucial phase involves providing support to key users, ensuring they possess the knowledge and skills required to efficiently utilize the COSMO Make-to-Order 2GO system. The training is tailored to empower users to navigate and leverage COSMO Make-to-Order 2GO for their specific operational needs.
- Configuration: The configuration stage is specifically designed to enable users to tailor the COSMO Make-to-Order 2GO to meet their processes. This does not involves customizing the system. Here we use our database to setup examples the customer can use for setting up his own system.
- Go-live support: Subject matter experts also provide advisory support during the go-live phase. Our consultants helps you to work with the system properly.
Excluded from the Make-to-Order 2GO approach
- Planning / Project Management: The planning phase, which outlines the project scope, goals, and objectives, is not included in the Make-to-Order 2GO package. This stage is critical for setting a clear direction and expectations for the project.
- Design: Also excluded is the design phase, which involves creating a detailed plan for implementing the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system tailored to the client's specific needs.
- Development: The development of customizations or reports specific to the client’s operational requirements is not covered. This phase would typically involve coding and creating unique functionalities to enhance the system's performance and suitability for the client's business.
