Planning Status
The Planning Status feature identifies prod. order lines that are Not Planning Relevant - before transfer to the PPS.
Note
If Not Planning Relevant lines exist in a prod. order, it cannot be transferred. All other lines remain Unplanned. To transfer the prod. order, it must be specified why Not Planning Relevant has been set.
Whether a prod. order line is Not Planning Relevant is checked when the transfer is attempted and the transfer is cancelled if necessary.
The system then identifies the relevant lines with the TOP Planning Status Not Planning Relevant.
The advantage of checking before transfer to the PPS is that any incorrect master data can be corrected and the transfer itself does not result in an error.
Possible reasons for the TOP Planning Status Not Planning Relevant are:
- TOP Planning Relevance for item is not set to Include (see Item Card).
- In the routing, there is no operation with the TOP Planning Relevance Include.
