Rich Text Editor
The Rich Text Editor feature enables you to import, view, and edit HTML-formatted long texts and text additions in Bill of Quantities positions. This functionality leverages the Business Central Rich Text Editor to provide the following enhanced formatting capabilities for continuous text editing:
- HTML Import and Export – Import and export HTML-formatted long texts from GAEB files.
- Rich Text Editing – Edit long texts with full formatting support using the Business Central Rich Text Editor.
- Text Additions Management – Create and manage text additions through a separate table and page.
- Placeholder Conversion – Automatically convert placeholder syntax (e.g.,
[TB61=Manufacturer]) to HTML text addition syntax. - Enhanced Viewing – View formatted text in Rich Text FactBoxes.
- Report Integration – Include HTML-formatted texts in Bill of Quantities reports (with limitations).
