Summary: Mapping Entries in the COSMO Data Integration Framework provide detailed information about the processes of each mapping. The status of the mapping process can be viewed and detailed entries can be turned on to track information such as action, XML Node, JSON Node, and filter value. Detailed mapping entries are limited by the memory of the machine, so they should only be used for smaller mapping processings.
Mapping Entries reflect the history of the processed Mappings. They show, in detail, which Mapping is processed with which settings and to which time and with which duration. Each process of a Mapping creates its own entry.
To view the mapping entries
- Choose Mapping Entries on the Mapping Version Card or use Tell Me.
- Choose the
icon, enter Mapping Entries - Data Integration Framework, and then choose the related link.
- On the Mapping Entries page, hover over a field to read a short description.
Status of the mapping process
The Status field indicates the status of the mapping process. The options are:
- Created – Entry was created but processing has not started.
- In Progress – Mapping is currently running.
- Processed – Mapping was processed and completed without error.
- Error – An error occurred during the Mapping process. If an error occurs, choose the Show Error Message action to display the Error Message.
To view detailed mapping entries
In the Data Integration Framework Setup page, turn on the Log Detailed Mapping Entries toggle to record all Detailed Mapping Entries for each Mapping Entry. On the Mapping Entries page, choose Detailed Entries on the Action menu to open the Detailed Mapping Entries list.
Detailed Mapping Entries give detailed information about what happened during a Mapping process. Repository events are used to track information regarding the action (filter, insert, modify, delete, and rename). Choose the Show Details action to access additional information, such as XML Node, JSON Node, or filter value.
Nota
The size of the detailed mapping entries is limited by the memory of the machine. Running mappings while logging the detailed entries is only suggested for smaller mapping processings. Larger mapping processings could exceed the machine's memory.
