Summary: This chapter provides instructions on how to set up categories in the COSMO Data Integration Framework. Categories are managed for each Company and can be used to quickly filter through large numbers of records on multiple pages such as Mappings, Partners, Partner Mappings, Record Pools, and Sequences. The Categories page can be accessed by using the Tell Me feature, or from any of the mentioned pages by choosing the Categories option from the Navigate menu. Categories can be moved in their position or indented, and the Filter by Category action can be used to reduce the entries of a list for the selected Category.
Categories allow the classification of setups to be found more quickly in a large number of Records. Categories are managed for each Company and can be stored for Mappings, Partners, Partner Mappings, Record Pools, and Sequences.
The Categories page is accessed using Tell Me. Choose the icon, enter Categories - Data Integration Framework, and then choose the related link. Additionally, Categories can be opened from any of the pages listed above by choosing Categories on the Navigate menu.
Categories can be moved in their position or indented. On multiple pages (Mappings, Partners, Partner Mappings, Sequences, and Record Pools), choose the Filter by Category action to reduce the entries of a list for the selected Category. This displays all records for which the selected Category is stored directly or comply to one of the indented Categories.
