Production Order Routings
The requirements from the routing are transferred to the Prod. Order Routing when the production order is calculated. At the same time, resources that meet capacity resource needs are scheduled if automatic scheduling is activated (see Planning Extension Setup).
The requirements per routing line are displayed in the Prod. Order Routing Skill Sets page, opened from the Prod. Order Routing page by choosing Line > Skills Sets on the Related menu. If no needs exist, the page opens without any records.
This page has two FactBoxes that provide additional information about the operation of the production order line and about the production order line itself.
This page is generally the same as the Routing Skill Sets page in that it has many of the same fields. Defaulted values can be changed for each production order. The fields specific to this page are described in detail in the following table.

| No. of Cap. Res. Need Lines | Indicates how many entries are needed for resource assignment. This is the number of rows whose needs are not allocated and therefore a decision still has to be made. This value is based on the entries in the Prod. Order Cap. Resource Need page, accessed by choosing the Cap. Resource Need action. For more information, see Resource Needs in Production. |
| No. of Resource Lines | Indicates how many entries are assigned to meet needs. This value is based on the entries in the Prod. Order Routing Resources page, accessed by choosing the Resources action. For more information, see Resource Needs in Production and Allocate Resources to Prod. Order Operations. |
Detailed information about the resource needs for each Prod. Order Routing Skill Set line is available by choosing the Skills action or the value in the No. of Skills field.
Each skill attached to this skill set is displayed in the Prod. Order Rtng Skill Set Entries page. The fields in this page are the same as in the Skill Set Entries page (see Skill Sets), and unless changed during the review of the production order, are the same skills.
