Feature changes
The new features as well as any enhancements and/or improvements to existing functionality that are included in this release are listed in the following table.
Name | Description |

MAUI | We are excited to announce that our application has transitioned from the Xamarin framework to the new MAUI framework. This change was driven by two key factors: Microsoft’s discontinuation of support for Xamarin and our commitment to delivering a smoother, more efficient user experience. To ensure compatibility, all components of the product must be updated to the latest version. Notable Changes: - Input Behavior: In MAUI, clicking outside an entry field after typing will no longer close the keyboard or trigger input validation. This is standard behavior for the new framework. - Architectural Support: only ARM64 and x86_64 architectures are supported. - Licensing: Several client-side packages have updated licenses. This should require no user action. - Loading Screen Visual: The loading screen may sometimes appear behind popup pages and stay visible until the popup is closed. This is a minor visual issue that does not affect functionality. As Microsoft discontinued supporting Xamarin, we recommend migrating to the MAUI-based application for continued support and improved performance. If you encounter any issues or have any questions, feel free to reach out to our product development team for assistance. The application is now available in Google Play as well. Note that before you install it from Google Play, the previous mobile application should be removed. |
Quicksearch in a Simple Lookup List - Select with Single Tap Instead of Long Tap | The update allows users to open a list from a field (simple lookup), use quicksearch and select records with a single tap instead of a long tap, making the process more efficient and user-friendly. |
Modify Error Handling and Loading Indicators in the Printing Process | The changes in connection with printing include removing the initial snackbar notification, displaying a loading screen during the label printing process until completion, and showing a dialog for errors or incomplete printing, while retaining the snackbar for successful prints. |
Global Search Should Apply Page Filters Too | The global search bar in the role-selector page now allows users to search for a document number and receive multiple results from different pages using the same web service, with results separated by page filters. Additionally, the result page's records will display the page customization caption instead of the object name, and global search will apply page filters. |
Deselect All Button Should Be Displayed Once It Is in Selection Mode | The "Deselect All" button will now be displayed as soon as the selection mode is activated, rather than only when all records are selected. |
COSMO Docs - Review of the Complete Documentation | The COSMO Mobile Solution documentation has been reviewed and restructured, providing a unified naming system and a comprehensive step-by-step guide from installation to configuration. |
