Wichtig
COSMO Mobile Solution does not fully support warehouse management processes when negative inventory is enabled in the Business Central Inventory Setup.
In the Mobile Solution Center page, choose the Business Functions tile to open the Business Functions page.
The fields on the Business Functions page are described in the following table.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Show Images On Items | Synchronizes the image handling of COSMO Mobile Solution with Business Central's standard item image functionality. If the toggle is turned on, images provided in the mobile application's Items page "Image Gallery" will also appear on the Item Card in the web client of Business Central. A dedicated FastTab will display all images uploaded from the mobile application, with the main picture being the one marked as a favorite in the mobile application. Images can also be added or deleted in the web client. For more information, see Images in the Mobile Application. By default, this toggle is turned off. This function will not work if there is any personalization regarding the Image Gallery on the Item Card in the web client of Business Central. To use this feature, the mentioned personalization should be removed. |
Enable Mobile Solution Physical Inventory Features | Controls several aspects of Business Central's standard Physical Inventory functionality, which allows users to enable or disable them as needed. It is especially useful for users of COSMO Mobile Solution who do not perform physical inventory processes within the mobile application. By default, this toggle is turned on. The following features are affected: - Recording without Given Lines on the Phyisical Inventory Recording Header: Allows recording without displaying the given recording lines in the mobile application. - Closed for Recording on the Phyisical Inventory Recording Header: Prevents modification of the recording in the mobile application. - Package No. on the Physical Inventory Recording Lines: Enables the registration of package numbers via COSMO Mobile Solution. - Expiration Date on the Physical Inventory Recording Lines: Enables the registration of expiration dates via COSMO Mobile Solution. - Changing the status of the Physical Inventory Recording to Finished: Updates the status of all lines to Recorded when the header is marked as Finished. |
The actions on the Business Functions page are described in the following table.
Action | Description |
---|---|
Movement Bins | Opens the Movement Bins page. Providing the Temporary Bin for Movement for a specific location makes it possible to use COSMO Mobile Solution's Movement functionality. Scanned items are temporarily moved to this bin before being transferred to their target or permanent bin. If directed put-away is used for a location, the Directed Put-away field will be set to Yes, requiring a Temporary Zone Code for Movement. |
Entry Summaries > Recalculate Entry Summaries | Recalculates the Item Ledger Entry Summary and Warehouse Entry Summary tables. These tables, used specifically by COSMO Mobile Solution, are based on the Item Ledger Entry and Warehouse Entry tables and are updated after each inventory-affecting transaction. They are utilized in the Physical Inventory, Adjustment, Movement, and Find Items processes and can be accessed as separate pages in the web client. Upon selecting Recalculate Entry Summaries, a confirmation message will open, as the process may take some time depending on the number of entries in the respective tables. |
Entry Summaries > Item Ledger Entry Summary | Opens the Item Ledger Entry Summary page, which provides an aggregated version of the Item Ledger Entry table. It is used in the Physical Inventory, Adjustment, Movement, and Find Items processes. The page contains information about inventory with all the location and tracking details. |
Entry Summaries > Warehouse Entry Summary | Opens the Warehouse Entry Summary page, an aggregated version of the Warehouse Entry table. It is used in the Physical Inventory, Adjustment, Movement, and Find Items processes. The page contains information about inventory with all the location, zone, bin and tracking details. |
